As indicated by the report, FG through the recently set up National Prosecution Coordination Committee will arraign Senate President Bukola Saraki( Kwara); Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom); and a factional Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff (Borno State).

Review that that the AGF, Abubakar Malami, had composed to both the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offenses Commission, requiring the copy records of the claimed defilement cases including some named 31 ex-governors.
A source cited in the report said; "You will review that before the NPCC started work, the AGF had kept in touch with the EFCC and ICPC, requesting that they transmit the copy records of 31 ex-governors and some other politically-presented people to his office.
"While the counter defilement offices had yet to react, the AGF again asked the different organizations with prosecutorial powers, including the ICPC and the EFCC, to assemble and transmit the copy records of all prominent cases they had to the NPCC.
"I can let you know that the offices have reacted to the AGF's order and the NPCC is presently assessing the records."
Another source, a top individual from the NPCC said the preparatory issues would be finished soon and the Federal Government's uncommon groups of prosecutors would begin documenting charges against a portion of the ex-governors.
Other previous governors incorporate Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia); Chimaroke Nnamani (Enugu); Saminu Turaki (Jigawa); Sule Lamido (Jigawa); Joshua Dariye (Plateau); Ahmed Yerima (Zamfara); Gabriel Suswam (Benue); Martin Elechi (Ebonyi); Danjuma Goje (Gombe) and Murtala Nyako (Adamawa).
